Hey guys. So the time has come to cut our ties with our current site and go someplace else. It's kindof sad, since we've been here for so long and we can't bring our archives over... but it's just the way things go.

So head over to http://pif.guildportal.com/ and create an account. For all current members, you will need to fill out the application to join the guild. All I will need from that information is your name, and character name. Don't worry about filling out the rest of the info, that will be for our new members.

Just some quick info...

 - The site is under "Guild Portal", which is a public site. this means that you may not have your same forum name available there, that you did here. The nice thing is that you can change your forum handle to be whatever you want.

 - I added a "Donate" button on the front page. I feel a little weird doing this... but the website does cost us money, as does ventrillo. Plus, we won't be getting rid of the other site quite yet. I don't want to get rid of it, and then find ourselves missing some valuable information from it.

 - Voting will be done with the "Voting" tab. All members will have admin rights to this, and all voting for new applicants shall take place here. Members will need to keep the access to each vote to "Members" only so that the public wont be able to see it. This is a bit more... cumbersome, i think. But there doesn't seem to be a feature that allows you to add polls in the forums. Lame, i know.

 - Raven and Ed will have some admin rights to update the news, calender, gallery and other stuff.

 - Eventually our "wowguild.com" name will point directly to the new site.

PIF Silvergate has been upgraded to include a custom domain, and can now be reached directly by going to pif.guildportal.com. Please note that there is no WWW in front of the address!
